Amplification
Depending on the size of the event, amplification may be necessary. Wedding ceremonies usually are not amplified, however receptions, dinner parties, open houses, and corporate events usually are. Since the music is primarily to provide ambiance at such events, it is not amplified loud enough to interfere with conversation.
